It installed just like any other replacement battery for this model (I've done about 10 of them). Fired right up - but don't forget to do reset PRAM startup the first time (Hold Command-Option-P-R while starting and until the second "Bong"). Definitely improved the run-time of my laptop.11/26/20, A year+ later: I'm still happy with this battery; it's still going strong.
