I installed this battery into a MacBook Pro a1278 that someone tossed out. Installation was smooth, and after a full charge, the battery life is amazing. I watched a 90-minute DVD using the battery power alone, and it only dropped 34 percent in those 90 minutes. Even with online usage, the battery holds steady. I installed this to my MacBook pro 13" early 2011. It's been a week and the charge is holding up really good. My old battery swelled-up it caused my track pad to popped-out. Now my Macbook pro is running smooth again.Update; Since yesterday 5/8/21 it kept displaying 100% but when I unplugged it, the laptop shutdowns . It only lasted 8months and 3 days to be exact 馃槍. Now I have to look for a another battery.

i was skeptical at first when i saw the price of the battery, but then i decided to give it a try after checking the reviewsI got it, and i fixed it myself in less than 5 minutes, also came with extra screws which was useful as i had few holes which i lost the screws.First use after i fully charged, it lasted about the same time as when the laptop was newWorth trying!

I have had this battery for under 6 months and have done less than 25 cycles on it. The battery lasts maybe an two hours on a good day.
