I ordered and installed this replacement battery in a 10-year-old MacBook Pro three months ago. The kit provided not only the battery, but all the special tools needed to open the laptop case, remove the old battery and connectors, and install the replacement battery. It only took minutes to perform the replacement, and the battery has worked perfectly ever since. I only use the laptop occasionally, but I have been through 4 cycles of use and recharging, and haven't had any issues at all. I would say I'm getting about 10 hours of use from each charge, running it down to 10%-20% remaining and then recharging overnight. Considering the cost of the battery was about 1/4 what Apple would charge, I am very happy with it! I'd recommend this kit to anyone considering a replacement battery.

I got this to replace my son's macbook battery that was dying out only after a few hours. Very easy installation. I replaced the battery on my own although I am not a techie by any means. The new battery seems to charge quicker and lasts for quite a long time.
