Battery is very easy to install but it lasts 2-3 hours in normal use of light web browsing. I would have expected more from a brand new battery but I guess you get what you pay for. Being that my old battery was totally dead, it is still an improvement for me.

My MacBook pro is from 2012 but the late 2011 edition. The original battery, like many of you, crapped out. Had to be recharged within an hour or two of usage (Netflix, web browsing, etc.). This one seems to last about 6 hours of heavy use. Not as much as I was hoping for but anything is better than the original one. I'm in school so work includes taking notes, playing lecture videos, navigating databases, etc. I'll constantly have multiple tabs open and at least two apps open at all times. Installation was easy. I have to say, charging this battery takes forever! Maybe not the best out there but it works.

Good battery, love that they give you a complete set of screws for the bottom laptop shell. Only issue I've had is the battery is just a hare thicker than the original, so when you go to right click on the trackpad, it doesn't actually depress and click like it did before. I prefer the option to tap with 2 fingers for right click rather than tactile click but it seems they could have been a little more precise with the thickness in the design and manufacturing.

Very easy to install. My MacBook Pro had one of those batteries where it started to expand and I had no idea what was happening until my trackpad started to get messed up. I immediately took the back of the laptop off to remove the expanding battery. I was shocked this happened. I didn’t want to get a Mac battery since it was so expensive and my laptop was already pretty old. This battery was the perfect solution to my problem and many others. The install took all of five minutes. The screw drivers included were defiantly helpful as I didn’t have anything that small. My laptop turned on to problem. So far it’s working great and is holding its charge similar to how it did before. I can’t really notice any issues thus far.

This battery was a very good replacement, and it still had great battery life even after I had to replace it again, over a year later. My trackpad "clicker" started to get very hard to use and eventually It would only work (click) in the lower-left quarter of the pad. My MacBook Pro (mid-2009) is pretty old so I just assumed that the trackpad was going bad. I ordered a new trackpad and started to replace it when I received it. I removed the battery to replace the trackpad and discovered that the battery was bulging quite a bit, which was enough to impede the clickability of the trackpad. Needless to say, I had to replace the battery, which still held a great charge, because it caused my trackpad to work intermittently.
