The battery is a perfect fit for my Apple iBook laptop. It was securely packed and promptly delivered. It seems to power the laptop OK although I suspect it does not last as long as it should. Time will tell how it performs after being recharged several times, hence the four star rating.

My old battery started to swell even though it still held a charge for 30-40 minutes. Apple wouldn’t service my 2011 MB Air because of its age so I had to go the third party battery route. The new battery is great. Super quick shipping (on a Sunday) and the battery works beautifully.

The included special Apple screwdrivers made it very easy to open up the MacBook and remove the battery. The whole operation took about 10 minutes and requires no technical skills. I did go through and calibrate the battery basically by draining and recharging a couple of times. Now my MacBook operates like it was when it was brand new and holds a charge overnight with almost no decrease in battery percent despite sleeping and not fully shutting down the MB.

Great battery for my Mid 2012 MacBook Air 11 inch. I replaced my OEM battery with this one due to the fact that my old battery (NOT DEAD) had roughly 5000 plus cycle counts. I followed the routine of cycling the battery three times before actually using my Mac.
