I looked online for many products and their reviews were not encouraging for my macbook pro battery.I took a leap of faith because there was no info on this battery at the time, so i hope you can now find my review useful. I am sharing this after couple of months of using my laptop. This battery is very good, and will probably last me a whole year before i change it again.It came with installation kit and the attachment chip to the motherboard was well protected and intact (see photo of package once received).No need to worry about buying screws and screwdriver- all that is included.If battery performance deteriorates at any point, i shall update you here.

Be careful with the macbatteryshop MacBook Pro Battery Replacement. But know that the warranty provided is seamless and resourceful for cases like mine. I currently sit at 63 total charges, and 71% Charging Capacity after less than a year of Battery Use. I wanted this battery to work well for my needs, but unfortunately, it seems like my experience is being cut short due to this battery heading down the road of cellular death.On the bright side, their customer service team was quick to respond and resolve my battery dilemma, opting to either swap the battery for free with no need of returning the old one,

I swapped out this battery in nothing flat! Was awesome to have the extra screws (didn't need) and screw drivers provided. My daughter is happy her computer can now be mobile vs. stuck to a wall!Also, my husband had a good laugh with the brand name...and his wife handling the battery like a true techy!

I installed this battery in my Mid-2012 2.9 GHz i7 Macbook Pro. I got seven years out of my last battery and based on the construction of the battery and the initial report from the Battery Health app. I should get a good number of years from this one. It's nice they send along tools for those that don't have those handy. But the best part is just a small thing. They include a full set of replacement screws with loc-tite on them. I've had the back of my computer off several times and my screws were getting a beat-up. And most of the Mac retailers charge way too much for what you're getting when it comes to screw-sets. Besides the fact that when I bought this battery it was the cheapest one available on this site, the screw set closed the deal for me.I feel very comfortable recommending this battery, from this particular supplier.The battery was six months old when I got it, and it was about 40% charged. I don't cycle my battery very much I leave my computer plugged in nearly all the time. I've had it a month and it's only cycled three times.

Just installed this so I can't speak to the longevity of it yet. On the battery itself it shows 6000 mAh, on the battery health app it show 5457 mAh max. Going to test the battery drain time again, first test it lasted about 8 hours with just normal use.As of right now 8-1-2021, I would buy this again.
